How accessible is it? I own the 1gb version which has no screen and it's a great product. Can the same be said for the 2gb version?ih

Sure, the 2 gig version works just the same as the 1 gig, although I got mine with the built-in little speaker. Be very careful not to get the Zen Stone Plus, as that has a screen and a menu system, and I haven't had the chance to see if the menus could be mapped out in one way or the next. You risk getting lost in the menus, because once you're in them, the four-way control with the button in the middle has different functions, including menu navigation. So do make sure to not get the Plus but the standard Zen Stone. If you want 4 gigs of storage, consider the Creative MuVo T100. That one's also screenless. You might also want to note that if you get the 2 gig Zen Stone with speaker, it boasts a 20-hour battery life, where most players seem to only boast ten hours of battery life.

Yea! For the Stone. It's a great product. I have other stuff, but I really like that product for it's ease of use 1 or 2 GB version. last poster is on the mark.

Thanks. I should add that the MuVo T100 does everything the Stone does, including playing Audible content, and its controls are the same as the Stone, with the addition of a rather wimpy bass boost controlled by its own button. I guess the other difference is that the USB connector is at the tail end of the player when you pull off a little cap, so you just plug it in directly. For me, that's nothing new or spectacular, as I used to have some cheapie Coby stick players that were the same way.

I have the 2 gig without speaker and not being a tech person its easy. I wish it had more base though but its easy and real small. This was my first mp-3 player ever.

Hi, I was not aware that there was a 2GB zen Stone. I picked one of those up.

As for the Muvo, it seems to only have about 10 hours of battery life compared to the 2GB Zen Stone's 20 hours.

Thanks for the help.

Hi, Beware as another poster said of the Zen Stone Plus models. I bought a 4 gig, and the menus are impossible to use. The 4-way control sounds easy, but it's not. Stick with a smaller 1-2 gig and you should be okay.

The Bass can be adjusted with the software that can be downloaded from the creative website. Also, there are JAWS scripts for that software, so it shouldn't be too hard to use.
